Life is Like Falling off an
Ocean Liner During a Storm

Life
is very much a storm most of the time or, at least to those of us who have
chosen to be entrepreneurs and master of our life. My grandmother had a saying,
"Anything worth having isn’t gotten easy." When I was young I didn’t believe
that. Some adults are as children and want things given to them without problems
or having to work for it. Well, that is immaturity at it’s fullest…
Do
you have the desire to be in charge of your own destiny? Do you know where to
begin to create your destiny? Would you if you could? The answer to those
questions can determine your being part of the 2% who will retire with financial
security or one of the 98% that will retire depending on family, friends or the
government!
Think about it. Falling off and Ocean Liner during a storm in the middle of the
ocean means one of three things is going to happen to you. 1.You will be eaten
by sharks. 2. Go with the flow of the ocean and end up wherever it takes you
hoping for rescue but usually dead. 3. Or you can choose to swim toward safety
and never give up, choosing to give yourself the chance to survive! Life can be
just like that if you choose to be independent and keeper of your destiny!
Most
people would say that it is insane to expect to be able to swim out of the
middle of the ocean. Well that’s what the "go with the flow people" said to the
Abraham Lincoln, Alexander G. Bell, Thomas A. Edison, Benjamin Franklin and
Donald Trump as well as many others who are and were great successful men! They
were told that it couldn’t be done in their ventures!
The
first group to be eaten by the sharks of the world is to buy into everything
anyone - not in the know people - tells you. That is the penalty for not making
smart choices. Which seems a very foolish attitude in life to those of us who
choose to take a different road and refuse to buy into the floating in the ocean
waiting to be rescued mentality. The second group is floating along with the
tide, who cannot or will not put out the work to get to safety therefore just
float with the current going along to get along waiting to win the Lottery and
expecting to be taken care of by someone else now or later. Spending their time
at their JOB (just over broke) hoping the company doesn’t downsize or go
bankrupt. All the while spending everything they make for fun and games and
entertainment. Then there exists the third group, which is very small, 2% of the
population who have the guts and drive to swim for it. Swimming the ocean is
very exhausting and can seem impossible at times, you may have to float along
for short periods but with work and stick-to-it-ive-ness you will make it.
Is
your life being gobbled up by the sharks, going with the flow or are you
swimming? It is as simple as one, two, three whatever decision you make will
determine your end in life and how you are remembered or not remembered, whether
you are successful or not.
I
prefer to associate with you 2% who want to have your own business and are ready
to swim against the majority to secure your affluent future. I have made that
swim much easier by learning a few tricks in life and about Internet business
and how to become a successful business entrepreneur. No I did not learn it all
by myself and neither will you. A successful business life is a joint effort!
Those entrepreneurs like THOMAS A. EDISON, father of our electricity, movies,
rubber and 1,073 inventions altogether, wrote, "Genius is one percent
inspiration and 99 percent perspiration." He fought the snickers, snide remarks
of being Crazy, Demented, Dreamer, and other nasty remarks, to become the
successful entrepreneur of his time.
ABRAHAM LINCOLN Great President of the USA - Could be called the biggest failure
in the world by some. He failed as a businessman, as a storekeeper and as a
farmer. He failed in his first attempt to obtain political office. When elected
to the legislature he failed when he sought the office of speaker. He failed in
his first attempt to go to Congress. He failed when he sought the appointment to
the United States Land Office. He failed when he ran for the United States
Senate. He failed when friends sought for him the nomination for the
Vice-Presidency in 1856. But that didn't stop him from swimming against the
current and he went on to become a great president, found something he liked and
did it well!
ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL father of the telephone - Failed in his experiments
hundreds of times but continued on until the telephone worked. People called him
lazy, dreamer, dimwitted, and many other not so nice names but he swam against
their criticism and became a great man for which we are eternally grateful
today.
BENJAMIN FRANKLIN inventor of the first enclosed stove called the Franklin Stove
-- Ben also established the first fire company and the first fire insurance
company in order to help people live more safely. As postmaster, Ben had to
figure out routes for delivering the mail. He went out riding in his carriage to
measure the routes and needed a way to keep track of the distance. He invented a
simple odometer and attached it to his carriage. In his old age he invented the
bifocal glasses which make life much simpler for a lot of us today. Contrary to
most people’s beliefs he did not invent electricity but did study the results of
it and invented the lightening rod along with many uses for electricity. We
remember the kite incident that was made famous by history and say, how crazy
was that? He swam against all odds and won through his persistence.
DONALD TRUMP modern day Real Estate tycoon - Built a huge fortune of hundreds of
millions of dollars and lost almost all of it only to come back and gain it back
and more than double his previous worth. Swam the tide of hard work and
criticism.
The
secret to all these successful stories and hundreds of others is; the fact they
didn't go with the flow or stick with what was safe. They ventured out took
risks and worked to make their dreams come true. True 2%ers swim the tide of
life! Are you one?
The
multi-millionaires mentioned in this article have/had multiple streams of income
so therefore do I. These multiple stream income opportunities, that I discovered
includes automation at it’s best with plug-ins that manages those streams with
the simplest of ease and simplified my life and business - Periods of my
floating – Along with Sales and Marketing literature, simplifying my business
life, ready for use while leaving the Internet world in a cloud of dust with
guaranteed visitors. This is the swim of my life and I’m winning too!
When
you think you’re down and out, look again, there is always a way around a
problem if you look hard enough! I chose a mentor to follow who had been where I
was and became a multimillionaire and am doing what it did and does to get what
he has... You need to find just such a person for yourself and make the swim so
much easier... If you can't find one, contact me...
