Cholesterol Drugs Life-threatening Risks

The “Mayo Clinic Health Letter” 9/24/98 stated; “Once you start, you must typically stay on the drug for the rest of your life, spending up to $200 a month.

However, this is a minor concern compared to the common side effects of cholesterol reducing drugs, which can include abdominal and muscle pain, nausea, fatigue and diarrhea. In fact, findings from a recent study, the American Medical Association, reveal that 52% of 7,287 people taking anticholesterol drugs do not refill their prescriptions – even though their insurance companies fully cover the cost (Beil 1998). Worse yet, all three types of cholesterol lowering medications are associated with an increased risk of severe liver damage, requiring that the liver be checked regularly.”

2002 found the pharmaceutical Industry deciding that the cholesterol level to ascribe to should be below 160, down from 200, making them billions of dollars in sales of cholesterol lowering drugs.

Fortunately, there is an alternative approach to normalizing the cholesterol that has been around for thousands of years. Taking Chinese Red yeast along with CoQ10 to avoid any negative effects on the liver.

The first U.S. study was completed in 1999 At UCLA by Dr. Heber who tested Chinese Red Yeast against a placebo. “The stuff really works!” stated David Kritchevsky, PhD, cholesterol expert at the Wistar Institute and University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kritrchevsky noted that Chinese red yeast balanced cholesterol an average of 25 – 40 point in 20 studies conducted in China. Among the 83 people who took Chinese red yeast for three months showed a vast improvement with a 16% reduction in overall cholesterol, while those who took a placebo demonstrated no significant changes (Liebman 1999) A real breakthrough in medicine and Natural treatments.

Of course this will take at least 20 years to hit the traditional medical community, if it ever does. The pharmaceutical industry cannot make money off natural meds. Therefore the next statements we hear may very well be negative regarding these studies, that is the traditional way of handling natural medications versus chemical… But as long as you have the information you can use it for your own protection.

Red yeast is also though to be responsible, in part, for the profoundly low incidence of heart problems among the Chinese.

... Handling business phone calls!

We too often take the telephone for granted. I hear so many people
speaking on the phone in the same way they would face-to-face. Then,
when we want to escape from the world, or a particular person, we leave
the answering machine on to screen calls. However, realize that most
people don't like to leave a message and would rather talk to a real
live human being. The telephone used to be a miracle device, and now we
use it as though it were just a toaster. But, the telephone is a
powerful device and can be used to enhance your business in ways you may
not have considered!

--- Answering Calls ---

As a small company, I cannot always answer all my telephone calls. This
does cause problems in my mobile notary business in that the client
usually needs immediate service and will simply hang up on the answering
machine and move on to the next notary. But, I do play back my messages
as soon as possible and return telephone calls immediately to those who
did leave messages. In fact, every time I return a telephone message the
customer will compliment me on my immediate call return. This tells me a
large majority of people lose business because they are afraid to return
a simple phone call.

One important method of ensuring that you client, or potential client,
leaves a message when you can't answer your phone is to call them. I
call my client list regularly to let them know that I am here and
available. It is important that they know that you are near the phone
and will return their calls as soon as possible.

--- Let me speak! ---

One thing I learned years ago is to let the client do all the talking.
This, because when you and the client complete the phone call, they will
feel good simply because they did all the talking! Consider this point
for just a moment.

The first step is to "relax". The client is not a deity, but they do
help to pay the bills and enhance your reputation. Getting turned down
is not as big a deal as you might think because, if anything, you were
at least able to practice your script! If you appear nervous and frigid,
they will be totally turned off and probably not hire your services.
There are exceptions, but this situation holds true most of the time.

--- Oh, that was funny? ---

Do not express sarcasm or any verbiage that requires an associated
physical component of body language. It is just as difficult over the
phone as it is in e-mail to express emotion and humor in a way that the
recipient understands the basic meaning. In many cases, comments can be
misinterpreted thus losing a client. Maintain professionalism on the
phone and, eventually, as you and the client get to know each other,
careful humor becomes acceptable.

--- Dress for the Moment ---

The next point is to "dress for success". Believe it or not, even if
you work at home, there is a mental edge that you have when you dress to
impress your client. You voice will carry the confidence and
self-respect over the phone lines just as quickly as your appearance in
a face-to-face meeting.

--- What's next? ---

Learn how to conduct yourself in a professional business manner over the
telephone and learn how to deal with the different types of clients with
whom you'll be speaking. Never do all the talking and allow the customer
time to explain what they want or need and then find a way to fill that
need in the hopes of securing an order. The old "hard sell" doesn't work
anymore, but if you provide something that people want, in a way that
they want it, you will have a loyal client!

Success Requires it!

What does success require? My most favorite animal
has the ability for success! Learn from it!

The Rhinoceros is a majestic animal. Be it maybe ugly
to some, but majestic no less. When the Rhino wants
to get somewhere nothing can stop it. A Rhino has a
skin so thick that arrows cannot penetrate it. A Rhino
will run over whatever is in its path to get to its goal.


I believe a Rhino is the optimum entrepreneur in disguise.
A Rhino has tunnel vision and will reach its goal.
A Rhino doesn't absorb the arrows shot at him, they
just bounce off the tough hide. The Rhino isn't rude
just committed and single minded. A Rhino doesn't
know how to be dishonest!


Remember the games you played as a child? Were they
games that mimicked what your life watched? My
sisters and I had a schoolhouse or hospital, depending
on how we felt that day. We built it out of old beds that we
dragged from a garbage dump about a mile from our house,
(Parents weren't too happy with that) and we taught each
other everything we knew which, happened to be what we
had absorbed from our parents or teachers. Sadly none of
those lessons were how to be successful at business
because we did not see that in our parents or teachers.

My father was a farm labor/share cropper oil worker and
knew nothing about business either. My mother was busy
having and raising children so she had no outside business
interests. Somewhere deep inside me was an independent
spirit waiting to be loosed. So as I grew I started watching
people I admired who were very successful as business
people and began to work at figuring out how to get where
they were. I spent lots of years in that mode. I did not know
how to ask any one of them to be my mentor…

I learned about the Rhino and fell in love with it as an
example of life.

We're born with the innate sense of entrepreneurial ship
and a glow of desire sits in ALL of us as a child until the
world/family says, "You can't do that." Without realizing
that we are being programmed to fail by our friends and
family, most of us listen and believe. Have you chosen to
listen to those that say, "You can." or those that say,
"You can't"? Making the proper choice means success
or failure!

A true Entrepreneur gets an idea then goes at it with
tenacity and stick-to-it-ive-ness, and rightly so if he/she
wishes to succeed, just as a Rhino after food. Something
I've learned over the years that puts me in the same
category, when an article pops into my head or an a ad
that can't be forgotten I go for it and nothing or no one
can stop me until it is on paper, to my husbands chagrin.
He thinks I'm a loner and maybe there is some validity
there as I need space and time to put it all together in my
head then into my trusty computer. Anyone who doesn't
write or isn't an entrepreneur at heart cannot possible
understand. But a Rhino would!


Are you an entrepreneur or striving to be an entrepreneur?
Do you have this burning desire to succeed and don't know
how to get there? Above all things there are some rules you
must follow to get there and that is, hurt no one, be honest
with all people but most of all be honest with yourself! Find
the right program/product/service that you can feel that Rhino
passion for. Do what you love to do and fit it into your success.
But one of the most important goals in that travel
is to find a mentor who has been where you want to go that
is willing to help you get where you want to be!


There is a slight difference in a Rhino and a human being. A
Rhino can't rationalize nor stop his path when committed. We,
on the other hand have the ability to do both. If we try
something and it doesn't work we have the ability to stop and
change paths, which is necessary at times. Also we can
rationalize and take stake in what we are about to do whether
it is right for us or not and we do not have to listen to the
negative people in our lives.


My first two years on the Internet was very trying and
disappointing. I had to stop and survey what I was doing,
evaluate people and make a 360 degree change, a couple of
times. My mentors who said they wanted to help me only
gave lip service and no actual help. In building Medical
Facilities I also had to change directions many times as
I was dealing with different personalities in each doctor,
but I never deviated from the final goal of succeeding
in making those offices successful.


I started out on the Internet very excited and sure of
myself. Having been very successful at building and
growing medical practices for 17 years I was sure I
knew what I was doing and could make this Internet
business work for me with a little bit of information
gleaned from several sources online. Mind you, I did
not know those sources personally and felt that every
one was being a true honest entrepreneur… What a
fool I was and naive to the Internet. Yes, there are a
lot of crooks online but there are more good,
honest, hardworking people than dishonest. If I had
given in to the negative aspect and thought that all
people were dishonest I would have given up.


I developed the skin of a Rhino so that I cannot
absorb the negative barbs sent my way. When
family doesn't take my work-at-home career
seriously I simply smile to my self and think,
"they are so simple minded!" If they are happy
working 9 to 5 in a mundane JOB (just over broke)
with no true security, I feel bad for them but it's
their choice, I'm don't try to change their mind!
When someone sends me an email accusing me of
spamming when I know I haven't I shake it off and
go on. People forget they subscribed to something
because the Internet has so much thrown at them
that going on to another site sometimes wipes out
the memory of what took place a moment ago.
I continue on my Rhino path!
