Believe me, not all multivitamins are created equal. In fact, most of the best selling once-a-day formulas are marketed with an eye toward maximizing profit and convenience - not your health. Preparation is imperative to a business that is going to make it online and last!
 
In order to have a professional & personal business here are beginning steps to follow that will make it possible to be taken serious?
 
Preparation for business means knowing what you want in your business and setting up goals and having them written down in front of you to look at every single morning and evening. Be specific! Know how much money you want to generate or how many products/services you want to sell by a specific date! Giving people the option of how they contact you. That includes your business name, address, phone number and email on every page of your site. Appear professional!
 
You must have a site that will attract attention. If your website reads http://www.someoneelse.com/yourname chances are you will not be taken seriously.
 
I know, - Been there, Done that,- and failed with it.
 
That type of URL is usually not thought of as a professional website of a person who is going to be in business next month and/or is not confident enough in your ability enough to have your very own domain name.
 
I made the mistake of going with an ?Internet Mall? and paying out thousands of dollars and not too many people took me too seriously for almost two years until I got smart and got my own domain name http://www.envirodocs.com was my first domain name. I now have several.
 
PROPER SOFTWARE:
 
You must have the software (autoresponder/sales manager) that will enable you to able automatically follow up on each and every client/customer 24hours a day 7 days a week. Other countries are in different time zones and you may not able to reach them at their convenience without getting up in the middle of the night to do it.
 
Personalization with your phone number with each email submission to customers/client is of importance. That is top priority - reach them at their convenience in the manner they wish - not yours! The software I use is excellent and distributes information without my doing a thing. It's called a SALES MANAGER the ultimate Internet tool. Today I serviced over 1500 people without doing anything.
 
TRAFFIC 
 
Traffic is of essence in reaching people.  Your site is in the great Internet Sahara Desert and cannot be found so traffic is the most important aspect of doing business online.
 
if they are not clicking onto your web pages you are not doing business. Here are some tips on drawing and or creating traffic to your website;
 
SEARCH ENGINES

A large portion of your traffic will probably come from the search engines and in order to place high on the search engine your must have the proper formatted website. If you are going to be doing the submitting yourself you should make sure your keywords and meta tags are exactly what you will need to rank high on the engines. You should use a team effort in choosing your keywords and Meta tags, by getting someone's opinion that knows the definition of keyword and Meta tags. Find someone who has a good reputation for submitting to the search engines and can assure you high placement... By letting someone else do the submitting you will have time to work my business! Words of caution here, know who is submitting and what their record is for placement! It's good to do a search engine search with your top keywords and with the top URL's that come up. Check out their keywords and meta tags and compare them to their site scripts. If their site places high on the search engines then they must know what they speak about, if their site doesn't place in the top twenty keep looking!
 
To check their keywords and meta tags; Have your curser on the page and do a mouse right click and choose  'View Source." You will be able to see the meta tags etc. in most web pages. A few people have made it impossible for you to view their work in View Source. But it is few and far between... But that simple act can give you an idea how that site is tops. DO NOT COPY ANY PAGE. That is considered a copywrite infringement and punishable by a fine and/or prison.
 
Most web pages have a contact link and ask that person who submits for them!

These are beginning but necessary steps to assure your business is taken as professional and lasting.

2 PC Annoyances and How To Solve Them!

I have a love-hate relationship with my computer.

In fact, often I love to hate my computer!

It will do things I know even the great Mr. Gates didn't
intend, and it usually does them at the least convenient
time (like when I'm on a deadline or in a hurry).

Rather than the usual whining and doing nothing about it,
I've decided to share a couple of things that previously
annoyed the heck out of me and the solutions I found to
help you avoid these same problems.

*Disappearing Internet Explorer Status Bar*

The status bar at the bottom of the Internet Explorer web
browser serves many purposes.

It allows you to hold your mouse over a link to see where
the link will take you.

It enables you to see a page's loading progress as you wait
for it to download.

Most importantly, the status bar allows you to see the
little gold "lock" symbol that lets you know you've made a
connection to a secure server (very important to know
before you input credit card data).

For some inexplicable reason, from time to time, this
status bar disappears from my browser.

Also, the toolbars at the top tend to move periodically and
mess up my "system" for surfing the Internet.

Now, it's not the end of the world, but it really ticks me
off when things change and I didn't change them! If this
ever happens to you, here's how to literally "lock" the
toolbars and status bar in place so they don't disappear or
move again.

First, close all your Internet Explorer web browser windows
except for one. If the status bar doesn't already appear in
the window, go to "View" and then click "status bar."

Also, make sure you have all the toolbars arranged the way
you want them.

Next, place your mouse over a blank spot on one of the tool
bars at the top of the Internet Explorer browser window.

Right-mouse-click and a menu will appear where you should
check the option "Lock the Toolbars."

Then, while holding down the <Ctrl> key, click the "X" in
the upper right corner of the window to close it. This will
set your selection.

If you ever need to change your toolbars in the future,
simply right-mouse-click on the toolbar and uncheck the
"Lock the Toolbars" option, make the changes, and then re-
lock the toolbars to keep them from moving or disappearing.

*Missing File Extensions*

One of the biggest pains in the neck involves opening
Windows Explorer, viewing a list of files, and not being
able to see the file extension (.doc, .txt, .html, etc.)
for each file.

For some reason, Windows considers this classified
information!

To make the file extensions show up, click "Start" then
"Control Panel." Double-click "Folder Options" then click
the "View" tab. Scroll down the list and uncheck the box
that says "Hide extensions for known file types."

You will now see the file extensions any time you open up
Windows Explorer.
