become) an expert. And as you love what you do, you'll
be good at it.
Here's a niche marketing model you can adopt to succeed
using this approach... Building your 'Content Site'.
Your niche website will be chockfull of valuable
content. Articles, special reports, ecourses, audio
tutorials, video presentations, information products -
anything your audience will find useful.
Your revenue models will include:
* ADVERTISING - Relevant, high quality content sites
are an advertiser's delight.
* DIRECT SALES - In-context selling of related products
and services is easy on a niche content site
* MEMBERSHIP SITES - Your content itself can be your
product, and you can sell access to it... one-time, or
on an ongoing basis as a
subscription.
* LICENSING DEALS - You can license your content to
other users for a fee.
The drawback to this approach is that you'll first need

expertise in niche research, search engine optimization
and the ability to create multiple web pages quickly.

to speed up the process.
Whichever path you choose to your niche marketing
success, one thing is abundantly clear.

The Philosophical Procrastinator

How many self help books have you read? And there are
certainly some good ones available, many that I recommend
and use myself. They provide good solid information, help
you get on track, help you with ideas and practical pointers
for your own life.
But there's a limit. After a while, haven't
you noticed that they all seem to say the same basic thing,
just in a different way?
And again, not a bad thing. Sometimes the
way one writer puts something speaks to you in a way that it
didn?t with another writer.
But there's a limit. How many weight loss books do you need
to read before you GET that it's calories in vs calories
out, no matter what particular "method" you choose to use?
You are a Philosophical Procrastinator.
You know the feeling. You really *want* to make some
changes in your life.
And you Think about it a lot.
And you Wish things were different.
And you Read every self-help book available.
And you even Analyze why you don't do anything about it.
You know those feelings well.
So what's a procrastinator to do?
#1. Make it Personal.
Any goal that you will actually accomplish has to be very
real to you. It has to come from a place that's important
to you, that makes sense to you, that is of value to YOU
(not your mother, not your sister, not the neighbor or the
boss or even what the media tells you that you *ought* to
want). YOU! What do you really want, what would make you
feel accomplished, important, interested?
#2. Minimize the risk.
What if I hate it? What if I fail? What if I look silly?
Some things carry a bit of a perceived risk and it can be
overwhelming. Nobody jumped off the high dive the first
day! Instead, ask yourself what the very first step -- or
the very next step -- is? Ask yourself what one small thing
can I do today, right now -- before lunch! -- that is part
of your long term goal? It might simply be a phone call.
It might be selling some things on Ebay. It might be
signing up for a course. If you're happy with that step, go
on to the next one. Small risks add up to big rewards.
#3. Create your own personal YES list.
Write down 100 reasons why you want to achieve your goal. I
call these reasons ?higher goals? because they are the
*higher energy* behind your actions. They are the PULL from
desire, from joy, from excitement that motivates you to do
what you do, instead of constantly feeling pushed from
haveto, needto, oughtto.
How do you stop being a Philosophical Procrastinator? You
can achieve the success on any goal you want as long as you
take -- not think about, analyze, wish for -- the logical,
